I was walking down Saint Denis street on saw this new boutique that opened so I walked in an was FLABBERGASTED. The place looks almost like a museum, clean and with a wide selection of cd's, vinyl and dvd's. There are some Canadian Master Painters hanging on the wall too. Truly an aesthetic accomplishement, which is a mixture of avant garde and old fashioned decor(multi media screens etc). Also the staff really know their stuff, are cordial and very amusing to say the least. 5 stars for Le Renart Bleu. Very new and different. A class on its own.

Very Nice employees, cool vibe, nice layout. Prices are great and the selection and condition of records is remarkable. You have to check them out to know what I'm talkin' about. If you're tired of all those overrated record stores where they still sell regualar copies of Thriller for like $10 or $15 you definitely need to check this out.

This is probably the best store in Montreal but there are still better I've been to. Cosmos in T.O. comes to mind, but a high standard nonetheless.
